Happy New Years to You!
We are so grateful for a new year and new dreams to chase after. This year is going to be very  promising for us with a new city to devour. Our 2chefs1home goals are set high this year it just happens to be an added bonus that the ability to catalog and share our memories is a stress buster because expression through art, exercise, words and food is an excellent outlet for mental clarity. We’ve never been New Years Resolution setters but this year we have big ambitions of living the life we’ve always dreamed of. We want health, happiness, spirituality and love. Is that too much to ask?

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice.” — T.S. Eliot

Thank you Jacob for our eighth New Years Eve kiss.

I love you more today than I did yesterday but not as much as I will tomorrow.

Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
And surely you’ll buy your pint cup!
and surely I’ll buy mine!
And we’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
We two have run about the slopes,
and picked the daisies fine;
But we’ve wandered many a weary foot,
since auld lang syne.
We two have paddled in the stream,
from morning sun till dine†;
But seas between us broad have roared
since auld lang syne.
And there’s a hand my trusty friend!
And give me a hand o’ thine!
And we’ll take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.
