This life is everything we were destined for.
Although that may be hard to read for people in times of struggle and pain, my family included, it is truth.
We were never meant for perfection. The Lord is the only keeper of that trait. Yes, we were made in his image but we were also given free will by malicious actions of the fallen angel Gabriel in the garden of Eden. If we were all as perfect as we desired to be, who would be our one true God?
We were not meant to live like kings. While chasing “success” we often misconstrue the prize of life’s purpose. How do we measure success? If we don’t know our true purpose the weight of greed will be our only measure of success, which brings me to one last opinion… success is actually measured by happiness.
What makes us happy? Do we wake in the morning and the first thing we do is roll over to our smart phone and check emails/texts/facebook/twitter/instagram/the news… etcetera? No, the first thing we do is breath. Conceivably, if we spend the first moments of the dawn in reflection of the breath of life we would be led to happiness no matter what side of the bed we wake up on. Wouldn’t that be nice.
