Mayonnaise is an emulsified sauce of an egg yolk and oil with additional ingredients added to provide flavors. Below is a quick two minute video of how to make fresh mayonnaise. By adding minced garlic to the yolk before whisking the olive oil you will have an emulsified Aioli sauce. Aioli is delicious on burgers, sandwiches, as a dipping sauce for artichokes or with french fries!
